Regular Season Round 17: Mechelen - Limburg 76-65

One of the most interesting games of round 17 was a derby match between two teams from Belgium. The game took place in Mechelen where fourth rankedKangoeroes won against visiting Limburg United (10-5) 76-65 . The best player for the winners was American forward Aundre Hyatt (198-2000, college: Rutgers) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Trenton Gibson (193-2000, college: Indiana St.) chipped in 15 points. Four Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. Guard Quentin Serron (190-1990) produced 18 points and Jonas Delalieux (202-1992) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kangoeroes (11-5) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Mechelen (11-5) moved-up to third place. Loser Limburg United dropped to the fourth position with five games lost.
